PACE
Helping people to help their neighbours
Parish and Community Enablement (PACE) projects are set up through our partnerships with local parishes. Working together, we help to recruit, support and enable local volunteers to open weekly projects for elderly, isolated or lonely people across the region or for those who are homeless or who have significant vulnerabilities.
We guide, advise and offer support to volunteers, from the initial outlines of a project right up to the day the project opens its doors and beyond. Volunteers run and manage each project themselves, but we are always on hand to offer further support if needed.
