The charity's 5p Bus has helped cobble together some props for a fabulous public production of the Elves and the Shoemaker by our Parkhead day centre's Performance Group.

Odd shoes from St Cuthberts Care's 5p Bus sorting depot were put to good use when Parkhead asked for help with the show which was performed as part of the 2014 Come On Down Festival of Creativity for learning disabled artists earlier this month.

Parkhead's Newsletter Group reported that the year-long rehearsals came together in a fantastic day at the annual festival held at Headway Art Space in Blyth: "We are so proud of ourselves and we did a great job. We had lots of fun with old and new friends and watched all of their creations as well."
