St Robert's Lunch Club volunteers sporting their new aprons

Volunteers at St Robert's Lunch Club in Fenham have a bright new look, designed exclusively just for them.

Thanks to local retired seamstress, Susan Bowman, each volunteer is now sporting a smart, custom-made apron in green and gold.

After hearing about the lunch club, Susan was keen to help make her own contribution and knew she would enjoy dusting off her sewing machine to put her creative talents to good use.

Now, the volunteers are delighted with their stylish, professional make-over and Susan is thrilled to have been able to lend her support to the lunch club.
