Volunteers and guests line up in their Easter bonnets

Guests at Claremont Lunch Club in Blyth had such and egg-citing time when they held their very own Easter bonnet competition.

Volunteers and guests put their creative talents to the test and came up with some amazing designs full of ribbons, bows, flowers, eggs … and bees!

“Each one was a winner really,” said volunteer Theresa, “and we made sure there were treats for everyone. We all had such a great time.”

The Easter bonnet competition is one of many social activities organised by volunteers at the lunch club, which help to bring people together and find new friends.
