Posh pinnies for St Roberts

Local people are jumping at the chance to support St Robert's Lunch Club and, thanks to the talents of one parishioner, the volunteers are about to get a stylish new look.

When retired seamstress, Susan Bowman, heard about the lunch club, she really wanted to help and has offered to dust off her talents to make bespoke aprons for all the volunteers.

Recently, she visited the lunch club bringing with her a collection of sample fabrics and design ideas and, after lots of excited discussion, everyone has settled on a classy combination of green and gold.

Hopefully, the volunteers will share photos of their posh pinnies when they're ready. Stay tuned!
